Q. What is Nuress spray technology?
A. Nuress is a revolutionary tanning system utilising soft spray technology for a natural, individual looking tan.

Q. Is this different from an airbrush tanning system?
A. Yes, it is a totally different technology. Nuress utilises Soft Spray HVLP technology which applies tanning solution to your skin at only 2 psi of pressure, unlike an airbrush at 60 psi. Soft Spray technology allows better atomisation, thus avoiding freckling, streaking or clogging.

Q. Is the Nuress Spray Tanning system easy to use?
A. It is extremely easy to use. Simply fill the container with tanning solution, connect the hose to the spray applicator, plug the unit into a power outlet and you're ready to tan.

Q. Is the Nuress system harmful to the skin like sunbeds?
A. The Nuress system is 100% UV free therefore safe to the skin. However it does not protect against sunburn, always wear a sun protection factor when exposing your skin to the sun.

Q. What is DHA?
A. DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is the ingredient in the Nuress Tanning Solution which works harmoniously with the protein of the top layers of the skin producing a natural looking tan.

Q. What colour will my Nuress tan be?
A. As no single person has the same skin tone or type, Nuress tanning solution has been specially formulated to guarantee a natural individual looking tan.

Q. Will I have an instant tan?
A. Nuress Tanning Solution contains a caramel guide colour to give you an instant radiant tan until the longer lasting tan develops.

Q. How long can I expect my tan to last?
A. Depending on your lifestyle and skin type, the Nuress tan can last up to 14 days.

Q. How can I maintain my tan to ensure it lasts?
A. Moisturise daily and avoid long hot baths, showers, excess sweating through exercise and swimming.

Q. How long does it take to spray tan a full body?
A. It only takes about 3-5 minutes.

Q. Should I cover my hair while spray tanning?
A. We recommend that you cover your hair while tanning especially if you have fair, bleached or coloured hair.

Q. Should I wear goggles and nose plugs while spray tanning?
A. While the Nuress Tanning Solution has no adverse reaction reported, we recommend that you wear goggles and nose plugs for your protection.

Q. How quickly can I get dressed after spray tanning?
A. You only need to wait 5 minutes before getting dressed. We recommend that you wear dark coloured, loose clothing after a spray tan. The Nuress system emits warm air while spray tanning which helps the tanning solution to dry quickly.

Q. How long does it take for the tan to develop?
A. You will have an instant radiant tan from the caramel guide colour. We recommend waiting for at least 6-8 hours after spray tanning before showering or taking a bath to reveal your developed tan.

Q. Can I use the Nuress Tanning System if I am pregnant?
A. We recommend consulting your doctor prior to using the Nuress Tanning System.

Q. Will the Nuress Tanning Solution cover my tattoo?
A. Your tattoo will look faded when you apply the Nuress spray tan. This will last until your tan fades.
